- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Misty -- Fantastic read : The author presents witchcraft in an uncomplicated manner. It feels a bit like learning from a friend, in bite sized chunks. Some books on this subject tend to be overwhelming. That can lead to uncertainty about where to begin. If you are curious about Wicca, this book is a great way to stick your proverbial toe in. If you aren’t new to this, you’ll love the connection to a kindred spirit through reading her story. No matter what, you will enjoy the read! ( Reviewed in the United States on October 1, 2021 )
- 5.0 out of 5 stars from liz stevison -- Reads like a close friend’s diary : I absolutely loved this book. It even found its way to me in such a witchy way! I was struggling with some recent political events and trying to find the strength to help , and honestly, to even figure out my focus. While this book is in now way political, it did help me revisit who I was as an optimistic teen, when I first started to learn about Wicca. It helped me reconnect with that young woman and ultimately tap into my female powers. I absolutely adore the writer’s style and her illustrations. I found so many similarities in our up bringing and our paths, that I just swear we’re meant to be lifelong friends! Even if you’re not curious in witchcraft or Wicca, I suggest reading this book. It’s an interesting life story that reads like a close friend’s diary. Oh! And bonus... she included delicious recipes. ( Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2021 )

I do not know much about the Wiccan religion, but I ended the book truly fascinated with the authors stories and explanations of the religion. As a mother myself, it was heartwarming to read another woman openly describe her journey through motherhood with such a vulnerability. I cried more than once, be prepared! I think we all have to find the spiritual path that’s right for us, and as the author shares hers I feel like she is cheerleading me to find my own. I also love the recipes and the illustrations.
